GALVA MAT is an anti-corrosion protective agent, delivered in an aerosol can. It consists of additives, high-purity zinc powder, and synthetic resins dispersed in solvents. It thus resists salt spray for 2500 hours (according to the ASTM B117 test).
Zinc acts through electrochemical protection while synthetic resins form a physical barrier resistant to external aggressions.
GALVA MAT exhibits remarkable adhesion to metallic substrates thanks to the adhesion promoters incorporated into its formulation.
Its anti-corrosion properties are excellent thanks to the presence of zinc and additional anti-corrosion agents in the dry film. This film withstands temperatures up to 350°C.
